2019/06/26 PERSTORP將旗下Capa™事業部出售給INGEVITY

Perstorp, a global leader in specialty chemicals, announced today it has completed the sale of Capa™, its caprolactone business to Ingevity in a cash transaction valued at approximately €590 million after gaining all the necessary regulatory approvals.

Under Perstorp’s leadership during the last 10 years, Capa has become a global market leader in the production and commercialization of caprolactone. Capa is a strong strategic fit for Ingevity which now becomes the new owner of a business that includes a manufacturing facility in Warrington, UK, and employs approximately 90 employees. Ingevity has acquired Perstorp UK Ltd which includes Perstorp’s entire caprolactone business.

The sale of Capa unlocks significant value and will enable the Perstorp Group to focus its business opportunities and future growth prospects on its Polyol, Oxo and Animal Nutrition businesses.
